Due to significantly reduced market liquidity during the Thanksgiving holidays, the likelihood of sharp volatility, sudden spread expansion, abnormal price movements, and even brief outages from pricing sources is considerably high. Such conditions may lead to unexpected losses for traders.
This situation is occurring across all brokers and can be easily observed by comparing charts from different providers. These irregularities are entirely the result of reduced market liquidity and disruptions from pricing sources, and are in no way related to the performance of Trendo.
For this reason, and with the aim of protecting users’ capital, trading on certain instruments will be set to Only Close in the Trendo broker during specific periods when abnormal volatility appears. This means that during these two days, users will only be able to close their existing positions during unstable market moments, and opening new positions will be disabled to prevent potential losses.
This decision has been made as part of our risk-management policy to safeguard your trading security under unusual market conditions. To avoid possible losses, we strongly advise refraining from trading during these periods.
