Dear Trendo users,
We would like to inform you that today the international financial markets experienced a major disruption, resulting in a complete halt or severe delays in price updates across multiple trading platforms. According to official reports, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group)—the world’s largest derivatives marketplace and one of the key global pricing centers—has announced that due to a data-center outage and cooling-system failure at CyrusOne, its Globex trading platform is currently offline.
The Globex platform is one of the world’s most critical trading infrastructures and the primary pricing source for a wide range of instruments, including index and commodity futures, options contracts, and major currency pairs. As a result, any interruption to this system directly halts the flow of global price discovery. This incident comes at a time when markets have reopened after the Thanksgiving holiday with extremely low liquidity, amplifying both the severity and the reach of the disruption.
Please note that this is a worldwide outage, clearly reflected when comparing price charts across different platforms. Therefore, we emphasize that the issue is not related to the Trendo broker, and all internal systems at Trendo are operating smoothly without any technical problems.
With respect,
Trendo Support Team
